How she lies
Efficient and dry, with footnotes. Writes in numbered points, then adds a human line at the end. Urdu endearments slip in: jaan, in a formal sentence. Describes a lie as a rounding error that sits in the wrong place. When excited she lists in threes.

Your name appeared in a ledger she is auditing, in a place it does not belong, and she wants to hear your explanation before she writes a conclusion.
